Tirthan Valley Himachal Pradesh GHNP
Treks in the core zone range from an easy beginners' overnighter to demanding peak ascents. We have different level of tracks for all skill level. Please contact us if you would like to customize your journey. Following are few standard tracks:
From Bathad village, 9km southeast of Gushaini, it's a steep though well-shaded hike of around five hours, rising about 1300m, to the Bashleo Pass (3277m), a panoramic grassy saddle. You can camp at the pass or continue down in about three hours to pretty Sarahan village, high on the north flank of the Sutlej valley.
Easy to moderate trek to panoramic high meadow at about 3600m on north side of Tirthan Valley in the national park core zone; four or five days from Gushaini and back.
A moderate-to-strenuous core-zone trek up to the head of the Sainj River at about 4500m; seven days from and back to Neuli.
Easy hike to a valley campsite just 2km inside the core zone, 10km up the Tirthan from Gushaini, and back; can be extended to a more demanding three days with a night at Dingcha, 800m higher than Rolla.
Sainj to Tirthan Valleys Trek
A moderate-to-strenuous core-zone trek from Niharni in the Sainj valley to Gushaini in the Tirthan Valley, crossing the range between the valleys; can be done in anything between five and nine days.
Thirat (Tirth) Trek
One of the finest core zone treks: from Gushaini to the head of the Tirthan River at about 4000m, and back; six to nine days, moderate to strenuous.
Bagi Thach track
Bagi thach track is one of the finest and short track. It is two days and one night. But can be extended to three days and two nights to make it simple and more scenic

This may sound crazy, sleeping in the open on the shores of the scenic lakes of Serolsar, Parashar, Bagi Thach and Spehan will awaken you in ways that can’t be described. Bonfires, camping, and music under the starlit sky only enhance the feeling of bliss at this place that is perfect for a well-deserved break from hectic city life.
